There is a range of options available when it comes to food and drink on the island, however details and availability are seasonal and subject to change. We strongly recommend to inquire in advance if coming to visit us in the off-peak season!

Enjoy a refreshing drink or have a meal from the bar menu available: pizzas, fish & chips, burgers, goujons, wraps and toasties! (Food options may be limited or unavailable in off peak times, please call ahead to check)

Siopa Ruadhrí Beag

Pick up your essentials, groceries and local produce in the island's shop or simply grab a takeaway coffee. An Post is located here as well for your convenience.

Opening hours:

Monday - Friday: 10:30 - 13:00, 14:00 - 17:00

Saturday: 10:30 - 13:00, 14:00 - 16:00

Sunday: 12:00 - 14:00

Caifé Synge

If a sweet treat or a coffee on the go is what you want the islands' coffee trailer is the place for you. Caifé Synge offers a wide range of drinks including, coffee, tea, fizzy drinks or hot chocolate, as well as a selection of bars, muffins and sweets to choose from. Decaf options available as well as herbal teas. Caifé Synge is usually located outside Halla Naomh Eoin

Monday - Friday: 11:00 - 16:00

Saturday: 9:30 - 14:30

Sunday: 11:00 - 16:00

An Dún

An Dún B&B will occasionally offer an evening meal for groups visiting the island. Booking in advance is essential.
